It depends on your use case. The calculator allows you to toggle "Include end date" on or off. Including the end date counts the end date as a full day in the total.

A leap year has 366 days. February has 29 days instead of 28. Leap years occur every 4 years, except for years divisible by 100 but not by 400.
Divide the number of hours by 24. For example, 72 hours ÷ 24 = 3 days.
Months have different lengths (28–31 days). Converting months to days without a specific date range is an approximation. For exact results, use a starting date for calendar-aware conversion.
When "Use next annual occurrence" is enabled, the calculator finds the next occurrence of the target date (month and day) from the reference date. If the date has already passed this year, it uses next year's date.
Date-only calculations use UTC-equivalent normalized dates and are generally not affected by timezone. Date-and-time calculations are affected by your device's timezone.
